The Mount Pleasant Community Policing Centre is hosting its annual December Donation Drive to support individuals and families in our neighbourhood who are experiencing hardship during the winter season. Throughout the month, we will be collecting essential items that directly support community members and families at the Broadway Youth Resource Centre who rely on local outreach programs, shelters, and frontline services.
This initiative is an important part of our commitment to community care. Our goal is to bring people together, promote kindness, and ensure that much-needed supplies make their way to those who need them most. Donations such as warm clothing, socks, hygiene products, and non-perishable food items are especially appreciated at this time of year. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps create a meaningful impact.
Volunteers will be present throughout the drive to sort, organize, and prepare donations for distribution, ensuring that items are delivered efficiently and respectfully. We are grateful for the ongoing support from residents, partners, and local businesses who help make this initiative possible each year.
If you are able to contribute, please visit our collection stations at 106 E Broadway and at 2455 Fraser Street or contact the MPCPC for more information. Your generosity helps strengthen our community and brings comfort and dignity to those facing difficult circumstances during the winter months.
